Athletes and Noni Juice

Recently you see a new match up: Athletes and Noni Juice. Stars of different sports have endorsed Noni juice and it's benefit for recovery after training or even in the recovery from an injury.

It is still unknown to many people that Noni juice with its high anti-oxidant levels can be very helpful for athletes and weekend warriors.

Here is a passage from a FayObserver article by Dan Wiederer:

“It’s nasty,” says North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson, who’s been knocking back shots of the juice in recent weeks. “There’s chunks in it when you swallow. It’s hard going down.”

For weeks, Lawson has looked far and wide for any cure he could find to aid his sprained left ankle. Recently, the noni juice seems to have provided a boost.

“I think it works,” Lawson said. “Before the (Feb. 24) Wake Forest game, I started drinking it. I couldn’t do anything on my ankle before that and by the next Tuesday, everything felt great.”

But before you go online and start ordering up the chunky tonic – $9 per 32 ounces on some sites – consider the following. Those within the Carolina program are skeptical of whether Lawson has really stumbled upon a magic healing potion or whether he’s been feeling more spry lately thanks to the 3.5 weeks of practice he missed.

Whatever the case, this much is clear: top-ranked North Carolina needs its point guard at full strength both physically and mentally over the next four weeks if it’s going to make a run at the national championship.

And if it takes the occasional shot of noni juice to provide a psychological edge, then so be it."

The stuff about nasty taste and chunks tells me that the Noni juice that Ty was talking about is made with inferior quality. Imagine how much better he could feel with a proper made Noni juice.

We have been making high quality 100% Pure Hawaiian Noni Juice and as many of our customers put it, it is the Noni juice that works.

Here is how sports and fitness enthusiasts and athletes can order our Puna Noni juice.

Flavored Noni Juice

While there is nothing wrong with flavored Noni juice, there is something that always makes us feel uncomfortable about it. It's the fact that you don't really know how much Noni juice is actually in there. And that's why you drink the Noni juice in the first place.

So why do many Noni businesses add flavor, sugar, additives and water. Well first of all because they want to save water. Second because they think that their product sells better, when it is tasty.

Noni Connection sells 100% pure Hawaiian Noni Juice and we hardly ever hear that people find the taste appalling. Because we produce our Noni Juice according to the principles of the ancient Hawaiian healers, our natural juice is very mild tasting.

Many manufactures do not use fully ripe Noni fruit, sometimes add bark and leaves, use reconstituted juice from powdered pulp or other inferior processes and then have to create a flavored Noni juice to mask the bad taste that this concoction has.

So besides the fact that Noni juice is oftentimes flavored, it is a lot of the times also without benefits. You need to check the manufacturing process of your Noni juice in order to reap the benefits of Noni juice.

Today the Philadelphia Daily News writer Howard Gensler writes in his article "There must be something in the water" the following:

"... While noni fruit offers a wide-range of worthwhile phytonutrients, 'Most commercial noni preparations are extremely sweet and tasty, while the actual noni fruit has a pungent smell and taste that resembles a soft French cheese,' says epidemiologist and widely published author, Barbara Wexler. 'In making the unique and powerful nutrients of noni palatable for the typical consumer, large amounts of sugar and other flavorings are added...'"

Please try our non flavored Noni Juice, that is 100% pure and natural. Try Puna Noni Juice!

Truth about Noni Juice

What is really the truth about Noni juice.

I found this very interesting article at News-Press.com in connection with that. Ginger Patterson, Ph.D., R.D. actually states something very important that we have been saying for many years. Noni juice will only bring results if it is processed in the way the ancient Hawaiian healers have prepared it. She says:

"However, when a process was developed in 1992 to dry the pulp and then make juice it was found that only the vitamin C, in the amount found in one-half an orange, was retained.

The photochemical content is similar to other fruits.

Health claims were made by the companies marketing the juice in this country that included preventing cancer, lowering blood pressure, and other too good to be true benefits.

In 1998 the FDA cited å Mirands, Inc., a multi-level marketing company in Utah that made Tahitian Noni Juice, for making unsubstantiated claims.

In 2004 Flora, Inc. was cited for the same reasons."

NoniConnection only relies on the personal experience of our customers and their testimonials to show what Puna Noni juice has done for these people. We don't make any claims, but share with you what other people found. Make sure that your Noni juice is processed the right way, otherwise it is probably better to just save your money.
